Search Engine List- There are MANY different types of search engines.  Some are very specialized. Knowing where to search can save you a lot of time.

Search Engine Activity: 

1. Choose 2 search engines you have not used before from the link, Search Engine List.
2. Look at the advanced search options for both search engines.  Will they take the same commands? 
3. Conduct a search using the same search string in each engine. 
4. Describe your results.

Web Evaluation Activity

After the presentation or viewing of the PowerPoint presentation, you will  be assigned to a group.  Together you will use the information on the handout to guide your web site evaluation.
